The Black Lives Matter Movement is the Enemy of African Americans

TACOMA, WA — June 20, 2020 — The first thing that I have to say is that I am an African American man living in the Minneapolis area. I have to state this now; otherwise, I would probably be called a racist.

Most people think that Black Lives Matter is a grass-roots, black created, black run organization dedicated to fighting racism. It most certainly is not. The Black Lives Matter movement is the creation of a group of a few very wealthy individuals, non-profit corporations, and the corporate media (incidentally, 90% of the U.S. media is controlled by only six corporations)

On the official Black Lives Matter website, it states that Black Lives Matter is a global network foundation that is active in the U.S., U.K., and Canada. A global network!

Who funds Black Lives Matter? It’s funded by billionaires George Soros (Open Society Foundation), Rob McKay (Taco Bell heir), the Ford Foundation, the Borealis Philanthropy, the Democracy Alliance, and many others. Not exactly what I would call a black run grass-roots organization. If these facts alone don’t cause you to rethink the whole Black Lives Matter thing, then you just aren’t paying attention. (Check out the links below)

Black Lives Matter began in 2013 when the media suddenly started focusing a tremendous amount of attention on what they portrayed as the rise of unjustified, racially motivated killings of African American men by white police officers. That’s the way that the media portrayed it, but the facts say otherwise.

Are police shootings of African American men on the rise? No, they are not. In fact, they are on the decline. According to the Juvenile and Criminal Justice Report, the rate of police killings of African Americans has fallen by 70% over the last 40-50 years.

Are white racist police the biggest murderers of African Americans? No, far from it. The Black Lives Matter/media cabal is demonizing the police and portraying them as our number one foe, – the enemy, but the facts once again say otherwise.

According to the FBI Uniform Crime Report, 2,925 African Americans were murdered in 2018. 89% of them (2,600) were murdered by other African Americans. That same year 209 African Americans (7%) were killed by the police (justified or otherwise).

So let’s do the math here. 2,600 African Americans killed by other African Americans and 209 killed by the police (justified or otherwise). So who is killing African Americans? Other African Americans. But who does the media put all of their focus on? The “white racist” police.

So here is the big question, seeing that these are the clear facts why is the media twisting the truth? Why are they pushing the false narrative that racism is rampant, (didn’t we just have an African American president for eight years)? Why are they spreading this lie that racially motivated police shootings are up? Why are they spreading this lie worldwide causing racial divisions, protest, rioting, looting, burning, destruction, and death? This global cabal has a secret agenda and African Americans are just being used as pawns in their worldwide game.

This media produced a false narrative that reached its pinnacle with the death of George Floyd. The media has practically deified him. He’s in nationwide TV commercials, online ads, public service announcements, he’s on billboards (we are talking millions of dollars in advertising. Who’s paying for this?). His image is graffitied on buildings, businesses and walls from coast to coast, he’s on national magazine covers, and this list goes on and on. Hundreds attended his memorial service and funeral which included Al Sharpton (surprise!), The Governor of Minnesota, the mayor of Minneapolis, and many big name celebrities.

So who is this George Floyd? Is he some great civil rights leader like Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela? No, – he was a violent career criminal with a long criminal record.

George Floyd was released from prison in Houston Texas in 2014 following an arrest for aggravated robbery. He had been in jail at least five other times. His arrest record included theft, drug possession, and criminal trespass. He was also the leader of a home invasion ring. They entered a woman’s home and Floyd threatened to kill her by pointing a gun at her stomach while they ransacked the place looking for drugs and money. (Check out the link to his criminal record)

Nice guy huh. And this is the one that the Black Lives Matter/media cabal is using as their international poster boy. A violent career criminal. Well, at least you can’t say that they don’t have a sense of humor.

On May 20th, 2020 Floyd was arrested again for trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a Minneapolis grocery store. This was the event that supposedly set off this insane worldwide media storm. As we know, Floyd died while in police custody, and the four officers involved were all immediately fired and charged with murder and aiding and abetting murder. This was done before any investigation has been done, and before the cause of death was even established.

The main officer involved, Derrick Chauvin was immediately tried, convicted, and hung. Not by a jury, but by the media. The media has so thoroughly convicted him that it is considered blasphemy of the highest order to even hint that he should be considered, “innocent until proven guilty”. The media has proclaimed it murder. Case closed!

Well once again I hate to spoil the show by introducing more facts into this media circus of lies, but here it goes.

According to the official Hennepin County Medical Examiner (not the private “examiner” paid for by the Floyd family legal team), George Floyd did not die from traumatic asphyxia or strangulation. The report stated that he died from a heart attack and the heart attack as a result of several factors. He had the narcotic Fentanyl in his system (which is 50 times more potent than heroin and the same drug that killed Prince), and he also had methamphetamines in his system. He also suffered from severe arteriosclerotic heart disease and hypertension. All of that combined with his struggle with the police as they tried to subdue him is what caused him to go into cardiopulmonary arrest. Not just the fact that officer Chauvin had his knee on his neck. George Floyd received emergency medical care in the field, but he could not be resuscitated. Does that sound like murder to you? Read the report for yourself.

Also the knee on the neck (neck restraint) maneuver was not something that the Minneapolis police reserved for use only on black people. They have used it over 200 times since 2015 on anyone they needed to subdue of all colors, white, black, brown, or whatever, and no one has ever died from it. So why are the Black Lives Matter Network/media cabal screaming at the top of their lungs that this was racism? A racially motivated murder!

The Black Lives Matter Network/media cabal is not what it makes itself out to be. It is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They pretend to be the liberal friends of African Americans, but in reality, they are their mortal enemies. The policies that they so aggressively push cause nothing but more damage to the African American community.

Under the guise of eliminating racism, they push a policy to “Defund the Police”. This is right on the front of the Black Lives Matter website.

Under the guise of eliminating racism, they push a policy that they call, “Stop The Mass Incarcerations”. This is a policy that promotes the release of prison inmates before their time is up and putting them back on the street.

Under the guise of eliminating racism, they push for the decriminalization of drug offenses, and the immediate pardon of all drug offenses with reparations paid to those convicted of drug offenses.

To sum this up. In the African American community where there are the highest crime rate and the biggest problems with drug abuse, they push to release the inmates from prison and put them back on the streets, let drug use and drug dealing run wild, and then take away the police. What do you think the outcome of these policies will produce? More crime and drug abuse in the African American community. High crime and drug areas minus police equal hell, – easy math. Policies that promote more crime and drug abuse in the black community are what I call anti-black policies. These guys make the KKK (Ku Klux Klan) look like angels by comparison.

The  “liberal” media cabal (news, TV, movies, music, publications) who now are pretending to care so much about racism and black people have for decades pushed ideas that are very damaging to the African American community. They have promoted criminal sensibilities, thug life, promiscuity, and immorality to the African American community by way of their promotion of the worst aspects of rap/hip-hop culture. They’ve been actively promoting the very things that feed our problems. Like feeding poison to a sick man.

Here is a very timely quote from Malcolm X: “The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that have perpetuated problems that Negros have. If the Negro wasn’t taken, tricked or deceived by the white liberal, then Negros would get together and solve our own problems.”

What we are seeing happening in the world right now under the guise of “eliminating racism”, – the destabilization of society, the protest, rioting, looting, burning, and killing are not spontaneous grass-roots events. It’s all thoroughly coordinated by those at the top of the Black Lives Matter / medial cabal. They are indeed the enemy of African Americans, but they are actually the enemy of us all. African Americans are just being used as cannon fodder in their game of global domination.

PETITION: Ask Trump to investigate George Soros’ role in funding domestic terrorism

Please SIGN our petition which calls for an investigation to be launched into George Soros and his Open Society Foundation, and those who fund the wide network of radical organizations that are purposefully destabilizing our nation.

The radical left is now holding the rest of society hostage – violently rioting, attacking police, and scaring away law-abiding citizens from parts of their own cities.

They are, in fact, cynically using George Floyd’s killing as an excuse to destabilize society and push for a Marxist revolution.

But, using bully-boy tactics to silence the rest of society cannot be tolerated.

When law and order has been restored, the people responsible and their supporters should face legal scrutiny.

Fortunately, we know who one of their biggest supporters is: George Soros.

Read our in depth article to understand how George Soros has been instrumental in organizing the so-called ‘Resistance,’ which has systematically incited one crisis after another in order to take political and economic power away from President Trump and conservative Republicans.

And then, please SIGN our petition which calls for an investigation into George Soros’ role in destabilizing our country by funding a web of dark money organizations.

WATCH, as LifeSite’s Gualberto Garcia Jones makes a strong case for investigating how George Soros’ ‘dark money’ is fueling the riots.

We need to find out exactly who is involved in Soros’ dark money network, see exactly who has been influenced by it, and expose how they are promoting violence – all, so we can safeguard the nation from anti-democratic attacks on our values and freedoms.

This is not a secret conspiracy theory because the evidence of the evil designs come directly out of the mouths and the public actions of George Soros and his cronies.

Indeed, this is nothing new. People like Rosa Brooks, an Obama-era Defense Department counselor and law professor at Georgetown, wrote an article in ‘Foreign Policy,’ back in 2017, titled, ‘3 Ways to Get Rid of President Trump Before 2020,’ and included impeachment and military coup as strategies.

And, now, an undercover exposé has shown an anti-Trump protest group admitting to receiving Soros funds.

Nevertheless, there is a real element of conspiracy in the fact that George Soros is a master of “dark money” in politics and “progressive” movements across the world.

President Trump and Attorney General William Barr recently announced that they will take the long overdue step of declaring ANTIFA to be a terrorist organization.

Now, please SIGN this petition asking them to investigate those who fund the wide network of radical organizations that are purposefully destabilizing our nation.

Just because Soros has a lot money should not exempt him from legal scrutiny.

It’s time the “dark money” web spun by his Open Society Foundation is fully investigated.

Thanks for SIGNING and SHARING, today.

Picnic Pulled Chicken

This Picnic Pulled Chicken is the most TENDER and JUICY slow cooker chicken ever! The secret ingredient helps to tenderize the meat while packing in the flavor. Perfect for making everything from pulled chicken sandwiches, to BBQ chicken salad, this recipe is a kid approved family favorite!

Pulled chicken in the slow cooker and made into a pulled chicken sandwich

This post is sponsored by Milo’s Tea Company. All opinions and recipes are cooked up right here at Easy Family Recipes!

Pulled Chicken – The EASY Way!

We do A LOT of chicken around our house, and I share many of those recipes with you.

One of the questions I get most is about chicken becoming dry, especially when using a slow cooker.

This recipe may just change your mind about chicken forever, because this recipe makes THE MOST tender, juicy and delicious BBQ Pulled chicken. We are talking lick your plate clean!

The key ingredient is something you may not expect!

Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea!

Milo’s Tea is a staple in our home. Especially in the summer months. There is nothing more refreshing than a big, tall, glass of ice cold tea. When the days are longer and the weather is good, I keep a jug on hand in the fridge pretty much all the time.

Milo’s beverages are brewed from real tea leaves, are all natural and contain no preservatives or added colors. Available in sweetened with pure cane sugar, zero calorie sweetened with sucralose, or unsweet, you can’t go wrong!

Usually we are drinking Milo’s Sweet Tea, but it also serves as the secret ingredient in the recipe today!

The sweetness in the tea helps to make the chicken super tender, while the tea adds a complexity (ie a whole lot of deliciousness) to the flavor.

So simple, but works so well. The result is some of the best pulled chicken I have ever had! You have to try it!

What to Serve with BBQ Pulled Chicken

Since this dish has the classic American flavors, it will pair well with many of your favorite pot luck side dishes. There are both classic options and some healthy options to keep it light.

You can choose one or add a few sides to make a wholesome, well rounded dinner.

Serving Ideas

Pulled Chicken is truly a versatile dish. It can be served in many ways to keep a variety of different opinions happy with little effort! Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Sandwich– Make a BBQ Pulled Chicken sandwich by piling the meat high atop a bun. I like to add butter lettuce, and sometimes a slice of colby jack cheese, or pickles to top it off.
  • Salad– One of my all time favorites is topping a pile of chopped romaine with a scoop of pulled chicken. It is good just like that, but to make it even more special, try adding black beans, corn and some crushed tortilla chips.
  • Bowl– Serve the Pulled Chicken in a bowl with your choice of chopped or cooked veggies and grains. Some of my favorites are avocado, blanched cauliflower, cilantro lime rice, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  • Wrap– Use a flat bread, tortilla, or even a large piece of lettuce to make a super flavor packed wrap.

Recipe Notes

This Pulled Chicken recipe is as simple as promised! Just a handful of ingredients and a slow cooker make for a family friendly meal.

In this section I am going to go through a few tips and tricks I use when making this recipe to get the absolute best and most delicious results.

Make sure to scroll to the bottom for the FULL recipe card.

  • Chicken Thighs– Chicken thighs are a key to getting great results because the extra connective tissue in them helps to keep the meat tender while cooking longer in slow cooker. You can substitute other kids of chicken, but you don’t get quite the same result as you do with chicken thighs.
  • Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea– This is the SECRET INGREDIENT! It adds so much flavor and the sugars in the tea help to further tenderize the meat.

You can find Milo’s Tea in the refrigerated section of most grocery stores in a gallon jug. The best part is when you pick one up for this recipe, you will still have enough left to drink too! Find Milo’s in your area by visiting their store locator.

  • BBQ Sauce– You can use your favorite variety. You will want a bottle that is at least 8 oz to have enough for this recipe. The best BBQ sauce for pulled chicken, is the one that you think tastes the best since it will pass on the flavor to the chicken. Outside of flavor, look for a thicker sauce, in lieu of a thinner sauce since we mix in the tea for flavor.
  • Spices– What seems like a lot of garlic and onion powder will become mellowed and flavorful as it slow cooks with the chicken. These perfectly complement the flavors in the pulled chicken.
  • Onion– I use yellow sweet onions when I make this recipe. You can use white or even red based on what you have on hand.

  1. Divide the sauce – When you whisk together the sauce, make sure to divide it in half before pouring it over the chicken. This allows us to use half to cook in the flavor and the other half to make the pulled chicken nice and saucy at the end!
  2. Slice the onions very thinly– The onions in this dish will cook down to be just little bursts of flavor incorporated in the chicken. By slicing the onion super thin, it cooks fully through to really develop its sweetness and disappear into the dish. My kids don’t even realize there are onions there!
  3. Drain the extra liquid– Once the chicken is done, you can drain the extra liquid through a strainer. This helps to catch all of those lovely little onion slices that add so much flavor. The broth can be discarded, and the onions stirred back into the chicken. If you don’t drain the liquid, or stir the chicken back into it, it will dilute the flavor and not be as tasty in my opinion.
  4. Make it saucy– The extra burst of sauce at the end gives it more flavor, keeps it moist, and really finishes it off. If you like your chicken extra saucy you can even make a larger batch of sauce at the beginning to have more left to stir into the meat at the end.

Recipe Variations

If you love this recipe as much as we do and want some quick ways to change it up for variety, these little tips will do the trick!

  • Smoked Pulled Chicken– Make recipe as directed adding 1 tsp of liquid smoke to the bbq sauce mixture.
  • Pressure Cooker Pulled Chicken– Make as directed placing ingredients in the pot of the pressure cooker. Cook on high pressure for 6-8 minutes, or until chicken is done (165˚F internal temp) then manually release the pressure and continue by draining the chicken and stirring in additional sauce.
  • Spicy Pulled Chicken– Make recipe as directed adding 1/2-1 cup (depending on desired level of heat) of diced jalapeños on top of the onions.
  • Creamy Pulled Chicken– Make recipe as directed. Once done, place the meat back in the slow cooker and add 4 oz cream cheese and cover for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the cheese will be softened and you can stir it all together.

Bake at 425˚F for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the nachos are heated through. Drizzle with BBQ sauce and serve with sour cream and guacamole. For a lighter option, try using mini pepper halves instead of chips.
  • Loaded Pulled Chicken BLT– Toast sandwich bread and pile on some BBQ chicken. Add lettuce, tomato, and crispy bacon.
  • Pulled Chicken Stuffed Avocado– Cut an avocado in half and remove the pit. Pile a scoop of BBQ Chicken inside the hollow of each half. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and chopped cilantro.

In light of all that is going on in our world today, it may sound strange to hear that you can have peace in a troubled world. In our beloved country every day we have:

  • 10 teens commit suicide
  • 135,000 teens bring a gun to school
  • 7,742 teens become sexually active
  • 2,705 teen girls get pregnant
  • 1,106 teen girls have abortions
  • 623 teens get a sexually transmitted disease
  • 211 teens are arrested for drug abuse
  • 437 teens are arrested for drinking or drunk driving
  • 1,512 teens drop out of school
  • 1,629 teens are in adult jails

As shocking as this is, it is not only a national dilemma but also a global plague. Jesus knew this situation would engulf the globe prior to His return by prophesying that “iniquity would abound” but He added, “Let not your heart be troubled”. What did He mean by this reassuring statement of comfort?

I want to let you in on the greatest truth I know. Everything I can say about real peace is centered in this fact. Without it, none of us can ever be genuinely at rest.

This truth has transformed millions of people throughout the history of the world. It has made derelicts into saints, hypocrites into godly men and women, and sinners into children of God. It is the truth of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Throughout this study, we have touched on some priceless spiritual verities that have a direct bearing on how to deal with the issues of life that can cause us to feel baffled, bewildered-perhaps even befuddled. In fact, we might say that achieving genuine satisfaction is completely a spiritual issue. To me, satisfaction is the normal state of a healthy soul. A person who neglects his spiritual needs cut himself off from the possibility of knowing real and lasting peace and fulfillment.

The greatest spiritual truth of all is what God has done to redeem us from our sins. By giving His Son to die in our place, God has paid the price of our sin and is able to save us from the bondage and dissatisfaction that comes with it.

Let me clearly say that I am not speaking of religion. Many people who are religious know nothing about salvation. Religion is of human origin, and it almost always requires that we do something. God’s salvation, however, is entirely His work on our behalf. It requires absolutely nothing since God has already accomplished all that is necessary. Our part is to simply accept it by faith.

A personal commitment

I had the privilege of conducting two wonderful interviews with the Reverend Peter Marshall. He was the co-author (with David Manuel) of two marvelous historical accounts of God’s plan for America and divine intervention in the founding of our nation-The Light and the Glory and From Sea to Shining Sea. Peter grew up in a marvelous Christian family. His father, the late Dr. Peter Marshall, was for many years chaplain of the United States Senate, and his mother, the late Catherine Marshall, is known and loved by millions for her many wonderful books.

I asked Peter what impact his distinguished parents had on his coming to Christ. He explained that they had made clear to him from his youth just what it means to be a Christian. As a result, he never took Christianity for granted, and he never assumed that just because his parents were well-known Christian leaders, he was automatically a Christian as well.

In fact, Peter told me it was not until he was 21 years of age that he felt he had really committed his life to the Lord. Although he had grown up surrounded by Christian teaching and in his head knew it was true, he had not yielded his heart in making a personal commitment to Jesus Christ.

“I graduated from college, and I was lost,” he told me. “I had no idea who I was or why I was here. I thought I was going into the Foreign Service, the United States Diplomatic Corps, but the Lord shut that door and it didn’t work out. So I had nothing. No plans. No goals. Nothing.

“Then I went to a Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference in Colorado in the summer of 1961 and heard Don Moomaw speak. I gave my life to the Lord as a result of that encounter. Two weeks later I was in seminary, and in 1965 I was ordained to the gospel ministry.”

God took Peter Marshall’s aimless life and gave him direction. And, as I interviewed him, Peter expressed his concern and burden that many people do not understand what Christianity really is.

“Christianity is not just running around trying to do great things for God,” he said. “We must understand that we need Jesus Christ because we are sinful human beings-weak and needy. In my pride, I had a hard time accepting this.”

I believe one of the reasons so many people-so many religious people-are dissatisfied is that they perceive religion as something we do for God. But true peace begins when we accept what God has done for us! The Bible says, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9).

You see, if salvation were something we could earn for ourselves, it would only contribute to our pride, for when we earned salvation, we would have much about which to brag and boast. Thus, what Peter Marshall says is absolutely correct-all of us are needy sinners-there is none righteous, no, not one…for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:10,23). Yes, all of us fall short of God’s standards, and if we are to receive salvation from our sins, we must receive it as a gift, not as a meritorious award for service.

What sin does to us

Some may have difficulty accepting the fact that all of us are sinners. We all know people who are good, moral, honest, generous, thoughtful human beings. Surely they are not sinners in the same way hardened criminals are sinners-are they?

From God’s perspective, the answer is “yes.” Because His standard is absolute holiness-one hundred percent perfection-the issue is not how many sins we commit or what kind of sins we commit, but if we have sinned at all. And Scripture is clear that none of us can honestly say we have never sinned.

In the presence of absolute holiness, even the smallest sin is as offensive and out of place as the darkest, most heinous act of evil one can imagine. Because God is so completely holy and uncompromisingly righteous, He cannot permit sin to exist in His presence. And the only just penalty for sin is death-For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

But just as God is holy, righteous, and just, Scripture also informs us that He is a God of mercy and love. Because of His great love for us, He does not wish to condemn us without mercy. Since in His righteousness He cannot simply overlook sin, He found a way that He could make us righteous without compromising His own holiness. However, it cost Him the sacrifice of His Son!

Perhaps the most familiar verse in all of Scripture is John 3:16-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. That verse, more than any other, has opened people’s eyes to the truth of God’s salvation and the way to real satisfaction.

Salvation explained

What this all means is that you do not have to earn God’s approval. You do not have to work to make yourself righteous. You do not have to become deserving of God’s grace. All the work has been done by God himself, and He offers His grace freely to those who will receive it by faith!

Nothing gives a greater sense of personal worth than the truth that God loves us so much that He gave His Son to pay the price for our sins. And nothing on earth brings more complete satisfaction than the confidence of knowing you are secure in God’s salvation.

May I ask you some important personal questions? What are you counting on to make yourself acceptable to God? If you were to stand before Him and give an account of your life, what could you point to that might make you acceptable to Him? Would it be your own works of righteousness? I hope not, because Isaiah 64:6 says, all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. God cannot accept works of righteousness from unrighteous people. Would you point to your heritage? Scripture is clear that salvation is not anyone’s birthright. In fact, Jesus said, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

The only thing any of us can point to that makes us acceptable to God is the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf. We must simply trust Him with childlike faith and receive His gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23).

Speak The Word

Psalm 33:6,9

“By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.”

Speak the Word!

Scientists are searching continually for the origin of creation. They have never progressed beyond an uneducated guess. I suppose that the most common belief is that the creation started with a big bang billions of years ago. It is an insult to intelligent science to suggest that we ought to believe such a totally ignorant possibility. It has always amazed me at the ignorance of brilliant men and women of science when it comes to accounting for creation. They would do more for mankind if they would spend more time attempting to develop a talking toad frog.

“By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” This is the most sensible thing that has ever come down the pike. Theories that do not see an intelligent Creator behind creation are not worthy of consideration; especially teaching these theories as fact to our children in public schools.

The psalmist goes on to say in this Psalm, “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.”

Speak the Word!

Not only do we have the spoken Word of Creation but also have-

This is brought out in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

The word “inspiration” means, “God-breathed.” God has given us His written Word that He might reveal Himself to us. The revelation of Himself to us is the most sensible conclusion as to origins. Talk about inspirational quotes!

The Apostle Paul also dealt with this truth. He says in Colossians 1:16-17, “For by Him (Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him, all things consist.”

The Bible is the Word of God. God has spoken to us in His Word. May the Lord open our eyes to see the truth of God’s inspired Word. 1 Thessalonians 2:13, “For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when y0u received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”

Speak the Word!

There is something unique about the Word of God. It does not only reveal to us the truth about creation, but it reveals the truth of our inward lives. God says in Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

This verse is packed full of truth. However, I am not looking in this meditation to all that it says. Let’s just consider three words. The word, “discerner” translates, “Kritikos” and means, “skilled in judging.” We get our word critic from this word. The word, “thoughts,” translates, “enthumesis,” and means, “a person who judges, evaluates, or criticizes.” It refers to a “fault finder.” The word, “intents,” translates, “ennoia,” and means, “thinking, or something a person has under consideration.” It means that God’s Word, “criticizes the thoughts and purposes of the heart.”

Speak the Word! That’s what He did.

The man who walks in the Spirit is one who lives on a regular diet of the Word of God; he welcomes the exposure of his wrong thoughts and intents. He can know himself as he is known; therefore, he can walk with God in an acceptable way. May the Lord give us the wisdom to seek forgiveness for the sinful thoughts and purposes of our hearts.

The man who teaches in the spirit, not only walks in the spirit but proclaims the Word of God in the Spirit. That is a genuine Bible lesson or Bible Sermon. Though he may use creative Bible teaching techniques, he stays true to the everlasting truths of the Scriptures.
