God often speaks to me in dreams. This is quite biblical but you
have to learn to discern what is from God, and what is from pizza.
When God speaks in a dream, it often comes with great authority,
it always honors the Lord Jesus, it agrees with the Word of God,
and in many instances, the Bible records that people who had
these sort of spiritual dreams immediately woke up after having
them. Allow me to relate a spiritual dream.
In my dream, I was standing in the yard of a carnal minister of
Christ who simply wouldn’t step out and do the things God had
called him to do. He was resentful of those God set to labor with
him often resorting to slandering people in his church. Over a
period of years, most of the leaders in this church had finally left
in anger, disgust, or tears. The work was dying a death of neglect.
While in this dream, there was a whirlwind blowing in this man’s
yard with all sorts of scraps of paper blowing about. There was
a man dressed in white standing in his yard spearing what I first
thought was trash blowing about this whirlwind and collecting
them into a bag. Immediately, I perceived that the man who was
spearing these scraps of paper was none other than the Lord Jesus.
The dream was somber, and sad, and it had the quality of spirit
like you would find at the funeral of an unsaved person. I walked
over to the Lord in the dream and grabbed the end of the spear
which had two pieces of paper impaled on it. I asked him what
he was doing.
I suddenly realized that these pieces of scrap paper blowing
about were the precious promises of God that this ministry had
neglected to act upon. I told the Lord, “These are not scraps and
trash but your precious promises.” He asked me if I would count
as precious his promises and I said “Yes.” He then gave me the
two pieces of paper that were impaled on his stick (each named
a certain ministry).
I understood in the dream that the Lord was collecting up the
promises he had given many people and ministries who would not
act upon his promises to redistribute them to those who would
count His promises as precious and who would act upon them.
There are many places in Scripture that record that the Lord
appeared in a whirlwind – usually in reference to impending judgment
– or spoke out of a whirlwind. The whirlwind is a picture of those
who have acted foolishly. Hosea 8:7 “For they sow the wind, and
they shall reap the whirlwind.”
Jesus told a story in Matthew 25 about a king who gave his servants
talents to invest, each according to his ability. The one who was
given five talents invested them and made five more. The one who
was given two talents likewise invested them and made two more.
And the servant how received one talent did nothing with his – he
buried it for fear of losing it. He refused to step out and cause the
kings’ property to increase.
Needless to say, when the king returned, the one servant who did
nothing lost even the one talent that was entrusted to him. It was
given to the other servants who would faithfully use it to expand
the king’s property.
Likewise, I believe that right now God is our collecting up the
neglected talents – ministries and gifts – that many of his servants
refused to count as precious and He is redistributing them to men
and women who will be faithful to the call of God.
The king blessed the servants who were faithful and gave them
much more calling them “good and faithful servants.” But to those
who refused to conduct the king’s business, he said, Matthew 25:
26 – 27 “His master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant!
You knew that I reap where I have not sowed, and gather where I
have not winnowed? Then you ought to have invested my money
with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what
was my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it
to him who has the ten talents.”
Because time is growing short, the Lord is taking away neglected
talents from those to whom they were once given and soon you’ll
begin to see 2 talent ministries become 4 talent ministries, and
5 talent ministries become 10 talent ministries, as God increases
their abilities and anointing. And sadly, you’ll many others who
refused to be faithful with the plans and purposes of God go the
way of the whirlwind.
Judgment always begins at the house of God.
God’s principles never change. Those who are faithful in the little
things will be faithful in the big things, and those who are not
faithful shall be cut off. If you have been laboring faithfully, expect
an increase. If you have not, repent and strengthen those things
that remain – while there is still time.
New Victories Offer Welcome Points Of Light In A Very Dark Time
…with one story here being especially compelling…
I’M GOING TO BEGIN THIS VICTORY POST with a truly noteworthy and uplifting story about a fellow I met in 2010 at FCI Milan. Here’s the tale:
Dan Benham had been an occasional correspondent of mine in the first few years afterCtCwas first published in 2003. He was notCtC-educated at the time– in fact, he was already several years deep into implementing contrary ideas of his own.
But having become aware of my work– and my email address– through connections with other folks in Southwest Michigan where he lived, Dan respectfully took advantage of his opportunities to seek out my opinions on his approaches to the tax issue. He wrote me perhaps a dozen times or so, and our exchanges were always congenial.
Dan seemed a good guy, with his heart in the right place.
I thought it a shame when I learned of Dan’s indictment within a few years on tax evasion and bankruptcy fraud charges. I didn’t believe that Dan had willfully attempted to deceive anyone. He wasn’t the type.
FAST FORWARD TO 2010 and I am newly arrived at FCI Milan to suffer the government’s two-year effort to convince me to sit down and shut up (as part of the 17-year CtC-suppression campaign documented here). Within little more than a week I was taken entirely by surprise when approached in the rec yard by a stranger who excitedly introduced himself as Dan Benham!
Small world, right?
Dan was only at Milan for a short time thereafter, before being transferred to another facility. But having realized the error of his previous thinking in the interim (and perhaps having had some of my earlier points in our email exchanges take root), Dan took every opportunity during our brief time together to get a good start down the path towardCtC-educated. We had good conversations, and I enjoyed his company– something of considerable value under the circumstances.
However, before long, Dan was off to his new location, and again, out of my mind. I confess that I didn’t think of him again until around a year and a half ago, when the phone rang and it was, “Hi, Pete this is Dan Benham. Do you remember me?”
Well, I did, and was glad to, because Dan had a great story to share.
YOU SEE, AS PART OF HIS SENTENCE on the tax evasion and fraud convictions, Dan was saddled with a chunk of “restitution” to pay on amounts alleged to have been owed in tax during the years of his uneducated practices. Some of those old liabilities were at that point incapable of educated dispute.
But there was a light at the end of that tunnel, because over the course of time Dan finished his journey to becomingCtC-educated. Last year Dan filedan educated returnsuccessfully reclaiming everything withheld from him as nominal federal income tax in 2018 (while leaving unclaimed the portion denominated as FICA taxes for reasons of his own):
A few months after securing this victory Dan noticed something unexpected: His outstanding restitution amounts began dropping!
It seems the IRS was paying off Dan’s restitution (in a manner of speaking) with diversions from the refunds he was now securing on his current-year educated filings! Here is a statement from the Dept. of Justice (sic) acknowledging the diversions:
I hadn’t posted anything on this really gratifying story until now because the overall record and related documentation are a bit of a mare’s nest. Because that remains the case, I’m not going to say any more on the “restitution” issue at this time.
But what we can see already is very pleasing. A good man who had once wandered a bit off the path has found his footing, and, what’s more, is getting solid affirmation of the fact from folks who obviously would be jumping all over Dan if they could.
FURTHER, AND THE REASON IAMnow posting what I am of this story, is that Dan has just gotten his second victory in a row (this one for 2019, onthis return):
This latest victory is worth celebrating purely on its own merits, but considering the special shine it sports because of the backstory, and with the continuing dark cloud of theC19 coup-in-progressupon us from which we can all use a little uplift (seethe article below in this newsletterto learn how YOU can help fix that problem, and how it WILL NOT be fixed if you don’t help), it seems particularly the right time for sharing what I can of Dan’s great story.
David & Valerie Denning
IN ADDITION TO DAN BENHAM’S VERY FINE VICTORIES, I want to also share another just secured byDavid and Valerie Denning. This is David and Valerie’s fourth complete refund secured over the course of the last 14 months:
Remember, it’s all about upholding the law, and that is YOUR responsibility. Awakening others to this high and honorable duty is the best way to make it happen.
“It is not the function of our Government to keep the citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to keep the Government from falling into error.”
-United States Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson
All governments are run by liars and nothing they say should be believed.”
-I. F. Stone
BTW, II: I WANT EVERYONE TO THINK about something before leaving this article.
You’ll have all noticed the reference in my post about Dan Benham’s happy victories to the need for YOUR efforts in overcoming the ongoing blatant disregard of Constitutional supremacy by many state governors under the mantle of the C19hob-goblin. In the hope of making clear the importance of your efforts, I want to put this question in your minds:
How long do you think you can continue to expect government subordination to Constitutional constraints on taxation if the kind of wide and deep disregard of Constitutional authority we’re seeing now– so wide and deep as to have put millions out of work and thousands of businesses shuttered, and all on a manifestly falsehob-goblinpretext– goes uncorrected?
H.L. Mencken wisely observed that people get the government they deserve, and they get it good and hard.
Let’s not “deserve” an unconstrained state, ’cause that IS what we will get, good and hard.
“All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”
P. S. It is with much sorrow that I must report the passing last week of Patricia Whitney, dearly-beloved wife of longtime stalwartCtCwarrior Tim Whitney and mother of recently-minted warrior Tricia Whitney, from complications during a surgical procedure.
Please join me in wishing Tim and his children strength and peace in this very difficult time.
P.P.S. As I just learned while preparing this newsletter update for posting, my dear friend Sheldon Rose has passed (at age 93 years young). For various reasons I had not seen Sheldon often over the last few years, but his passing brings my a great sense of loss, nonetheless. Sheldon was an especially good American and an especially good human being.
