If I was the parent of a teenager in this day and age, I’d be a nervous wreck. I’m a nervous wreck and my daughter is 30.
So, I feel for all of you raising teenagers and young kids right now.
Social media is such a scary place – from predators to scammers to these absurd and dangerous “challenges,” it’s like a crapshoot for young people, who feel invincible and don’t understand the dangers.
The only way parents would know what’s going on with their kids online is to literally watch over their shoulders 24/7…social media is like a long, dark back alley…you might make it through unscathed, or you might get knifed and die. And it’s so wrong that these companies are not better at policing their own sites.
Social media will bend over backward to delete conservatives – but they’ll allow all of these sick predators and dangerous challenges to stay up – and people are dying because of it.
As a matter of fact, a 12-year-old boy is now brain dead, thanks to TikTok.
From The Blaze
The boy was reportedly rushed to the hospital, but doctors have since told the family that he is brain-dead and will not recover. Now his parents are begging for more time.
“He’s a fighter. I can see him fighting. I’m praying for him every day,” Joshua’s father, Haileyesus Zeryihun, said, according to the news outlet. “It’s just heartbreaking to see him laying on the bed.”
“[They] told me the bad news that he’s not going to survive, he’s not going to make it,” the father added. “I was begging them on the floor, pleading to see if they can give me some time, not to give up on him. If I just give up on him, I feel like I’m just walking away from my son.”
This is so heartbreaking.
You can watch the video below:
The family says that their son used social media a lot and had many great experiences from it.
He was very involved in cooking, guitar, and acting., and that’s all great…but there’s a dark side, too.
Now the family is warning others about the dangerous side of social media, as well.
Social media platforms need to be less worried about “Trump” and more focused on keeping their users alive and safe.
The legalization of abortion in Nepal has had devastating consequences for the country, leading to an epidemic of missing girls. Like many Asian countries, there is a strong preference for boys instead of girls, as boys are seen as assets to bring the family money and status. Girls, on the other hand, are seen as burdens, with each family having to pay a dowry for daughters to be married. After the wedding, she then leaves her parents to join her husband’s family.
Yet it wasn’t until abortion became legal in 2002 in the country — and ultrasounds became widely available shortly after — that gendercide became a major problem.
The British Medical Journal (BMJ)performed an analysisof census data from Nepal, and found disturbing information: the number of “missing girls,” or girls aborted due to their gender, is rising. Between 2002 and 2011, the number of girls aborted who otherwise would have been born was 1 in 50. Between the years 2010 and 2011, that number had risen to 1 in 38.
In certain areas of the country, the crisis is even direr. In Arghakhanchi, for example, 1 in 6 girls are missing, while in the Kathmandu Valley, there are 115 boys born for every 100 girls.
Abortions due to gender are technically illegal in Nepal. But the laws against it are rarely enforced, allowing sex-selective abortion to thrive. BMJ researchers also found that the wealthier and more educated a woman was, the more likely she was to undergo a sex-selective abortion. Even worse, the team found that in districts with high numbers of sex-selective abortion, girls were disproportionately more likely to die before the age of five than boys were — indicating that girls are possibly being killed both before and after birth.
“As fertility falls and urbanization increases, there is more access to prenatal sex identification technology in Nepal,” Dr. Melanie Channon, lead author of the analysis, told the Eurasia Review. “Our study shows some of the impact this has had over recent years, and we expect there will be a ‘trickle-down’ of ability to select the sex of a baby from the wealthiest and most educated as the technology becomes more widely available and more affordable. Put simply and starkly, without concerted effort, there will be an increase in sex-selective abortions in Nepal.”
Gendercide continues to thrive around the world, despite thedevastating consequencesit has had in countries like China and India. The United Nations has estimated that there are at least100 million missing girlsdue to sex-selective abortion, and it isn’t limited to Asian countries. It has been found in countries likeAustralia, theUnited States, and theUnited Kingdom; inScotland, midwives admitted to concealing the gender of women’s babies for fear that they would choose abortion. Distorted sex ratios have led to serious horrors, such asincreases in sex traffickingand child brides. Despite these atrocities, the abortion industry remains complicit in gendercide, willing to overlook these problems for the sake of profit.
I know who I am and I know who God says I am and what God says I can do.
C.H. Spurgeon said, “If God does not save a man by truth He certainly will not save them by lies, and if the old gospel is not competent to work a revival, then we will do without the revival;”
Eze 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones.
Eze 37:2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
Eze 37:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
All through the bible, we are given symbols of the Holy Spirit: through these symbols, we learn who the Holy Spirit is and how He manifests Himself and interacts with His people. (Fire) (Oil) (Water) (Dove) (Wind)
I don’t really have time to talk about the wind but if I did I would bring to your attention: It was the wind that opened the red sea, (it was the wind that closed it again).
Ex 14:21 & Ex 15:10 The wind opened the way for their escape, and the wind moved the waters to return and close upon and destroy their enemies.
It was the wind that dried up the floodwaters from the earth after it had rained for 40 days and 40 nights Gen 8:1.
It was the wind that brought the plague of locusts upon the Egyptians, and it was the wind that took them away. Ex 10:13 & Ex 10:19
It was a wind from the Lord that brought quail to the complaining Israelites Numbers 11:31
It was the wind that brought the rain that ended a 31/2-year drought in Israel. 1 Kings 18:45
The wind speaks of God’s Power and it speaks of change: When the wind of God blows it brings change.
I’m talking to somebody here today who needs a change, you need the power of God, the wind of God to blow through your life right now and bring a change.
Say (it’s Changing) it’s changing, I can’t see it I can’t touch it, but it’s changing, I don’t know how God’s going to do it but it’s changing.
I got a witness in my spirit that change is on the way, I feel the wind shifting.
It was not the fire in the valley that day, and it was not the oil, and it was not the water, and it was not the dove that brought restoration and resurrection to a valley of dry bones (But it was the Wind of God, the Wind of Heaven, the Power of God, the Breath of God) Don’t get me wrong, we need the fire, the oil, the water, and the dove.
(But when you need a change when you need a resurrection when you need the power of God to come into your life and quicken and raise up something in your life that has died or is dying (You need the wind of God to blow)
That same power, that same anointing, that same wind that blew through that valley of dry bones is blowing in this house right now.
Lift your hands right now 🙌 and tell God: Let the wind blow.
When the wind blows everything changes: When Elijah was hiding out in a cave fearful that Jezebel would take his life, the bible says that the Lord passed by his cave, and when He did there was a Wind, an earthquake, and a fire (1 Kings 19:11)
The Lord caused it all: I want to focus for a minute on the wind that blew that day. It was not the soft gentle breeze of a warm summer’s night.
This wind ripped the mountains apart and broke the boulders into pieces = burst, crush, destroy, (pulverize). In other words, after this wind passed by the mountains were gone (destroyed, pulverized) there was no evidence left that they had ever existed.
Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
I prophesy to you right now: The wind of God is getting ready to blow through your life today and it’s going to not only destroy your problem but when God gets through moving there will be no evidence that a problem ever existed.
We all thank God for the soft gentle breezes of His love for us.
But sometimes we need more than just a gentle breeze, sometimes we need a mountain pulverizing rock smashing wind to blow through our lives. There are some people reading this right now and you’ve got some mountain-sized problems that look impossible and immovable.
Some of you are facing mountains in your finances. Others are up against the mountain of health issues that refuse to change. Some of you are dealing with the mountain of rebellious children, and grandchildren. Somebody else is facing the mountain of drugs and alcohol.
There are all kinds of mountains, and your mountains may be different but the one thing they have in common is that they look impossible, and they refuse to move. And the circumstances refuse to change.
But the wind of God is getting ready to blow on that mountain, and when the wind is through blowing, there won’t even be any dust left, there won’t even be any evidence that a mountain ever existed.
The bible says that this wind that blew by Elijah was a Great and Strong wind.
I prophesy to you today that a Great and a Strong wind is getting ready to blow through your life, and this wind is going to blow in your favor and it’s going to change things, and I don’t care how big, how cruel, how ugly, or how long that mountain has been standing in your way, stealing your health, your money, your peace, and your joy when the wind of God blows it’s going to move.
Shout it out right now: It’s moving, It’s breaking.
When you talk about the wind, you’re talking about a force that cannot be seen, it cannot be touched, and it cannot be controlled. You don’t know when it’s coming, which direction it’s going or how hard or how long it’s going to blow.
But when the wind blows you can feel its effects, you can see where it’s been.
The highest level of wisdom mankind has attained is that we have learned how to Cooperate with the wind, we have learned how to work together, which means we have learned how to position ourselves so that when the wind blows it benefits us.
That means we have to be ready all the time and it means we have to be (flexible), we have to know when the wind changes directions and change with the wind. When the wind changes directions we have to shift.
There are churches today and entire organizations that missed their shift, and now they’re either completely gone, or just a shell of what God ordained for them to be, and it’s all because they fought the wind, they fought the change the wind brought, and they refused to shift when the wind changed.
When the natural wind blows, it blows helter-skelter here and there, many times causing great damage and destruction and even loss of lives.
But the wind of God blows with healing, and deliverance, with mercy and grace and forgiveness, it blows with restoration and miracles, it blows to undo all the works of the devil.
I feel a stirring in the atmosphere right now, I feel a wind beginning to blow in this place.
I feel in my spirit that there are some people out there who have made up their minds: I’m not going to miss it.
Without the wind we’re powerless. Without the wind, we’re dead in the water.
Without the wind we’re just an empty shell, we may look good, we may have a lot of activity, we may make a lot of noise, But we’re dead.
But when the wind blows: Everything changes.
The bible says: when the wind of God passed by, it rent the mountains in pieces.
That word (rent) comes from the Hebrew word and it means (to break off, to tear in pieces, but my favorite definition is the word “craunch” = Press or grind with a crushing noise
When the wind of God blew by Elijah that day it Craunched the mountains.
I feel a craunching anointing in this house right now. I believe somebody’s fear is getting crunched today, somebody’s sickness is getting crunched, somebody’s debt is getting crunched. God is in a craunching mood today.
That means: Any mountain that gets in His way of fulfilling His plan for your life is going to be crunched, crunched, demolished, (pulverized).
I love Eze 37:1-10, Because we are first presented with all the brokenness, hopelessness, and despair, and we see how far the devil will go to destroy humanity.
In that valley, we see every phase of broken humanity. (broken marriages, broken dreams, broken health, sickness and disease of every kind) cancer is there, sugar diabetes is there, asthma is there, kidney trouble, liver problems, heart trouble, fear and depression, anxiety, worry, stress It’s all there in that valley.
And they were very dry: The moisture, the joy, the essence of life was gone.
This scene is so dark and hopeless that when God asks His mighty prophet of faith “can these bones live again” Ezekiel cannot find enough faith to say yes, but only (Lord God thou knows)
This was not great faith on the prophet’s part, but it was great obedience. That should encourage somebody today (It’s not great perfected mountains of faith that God needs from you, it’s just enough faith to obey God)
“I see so many Christians who are struggling to believe and struggling to have faith. Their focus is all wrong. They’re focusing on their ability or inability to believe God, or “trying” to have faith. They should simply start acting like God’s word is true. It will make all the difference in their lives! It is when we know God’s Word is true and act like it’s true that is becoming a reality to us. Faith is not something we have, as much as something we do.”
There was a little boy who was caught in a fire at home. He could not get out of the burning house. He climbed up out onto the roof of the burning home and began to cry for his father’s help. The father looked up at his son from the ground and told him to jump. “I can’t see you daddy, how will you catch me?” said the son. The father said, “I can see you”. Without further hesitation, the boy jumped into his father’s arms. Sometimes we need to have that same type of pure faith that a child has in their parents in our Heavenly father.
Now we have taken it all in and we have seen the destruction and misery that was left after the devil passed by.
Now God says to His prophet: Prophecy upon these bones (and as he prophesies God strategically and systematically destroys every effect and all evidence, of the devil’s work. Acts 3:8 For this purpose was the son of God made manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
In Ezekiel 37:1 We start out with a valley full of dry bones but thank God it doesn’t end there. It became a mountain top of victory, of resurrection, of healing and restoration, of hope and expectation.
You may be looking at your own valley of dry bones right now, and it may look impossible.
But I prophesy to you right now that God is going to turn your valley of death into a mountain of life.
He will turn your valley of sickness into a mountain top of health.
Your valley of debt into a mountain top of blessing.
Your valley of loss into a mountain top of fullness and overflow, filling every empty area of your life, every crack every crevice until your life is overflowing with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.
By verse 10 of Ezekiel 37, we see no evidence left of what existed in verses 1&2. There was not one single dry bone left in that valley, every bone had found its placed and every bone was restored to its strength and power.
I prophesy to you today that somebody is going from vs 1&2 to vs 10 in one jump, it doesn’t take God long to turn it around.
It may have been going the wrong way, going downhill, for a long time, getting worse all the time, and it may feel and look more impossible than ever, but the wind of God is blowing and God is turning it around.
When the strong and mighty pulverizing mountain craunching wind of God blew through that valley, there was a divine reversal and everything that the devil had done, all the desolation and destruction was turned around.
That same wind of God is blowing in this house right now.
Lift your hands and begin to praise Him, and as you praise Him you’re going to activate the wind, the anointing, the power of God. Praise Him and ask Him to blow on you, ask Him to send that mountain craunching devil blasting, dead raising wind of his spirit.
As you praise Him, the wind is blowing, as you praise Him the devils’ works are being destroyed, (sickness is being destroyed, debt and lack are being destroyed, bondage’s are being broken, yokes are being destroyed, habits and addictions are being destroyed)
When this wind is through blowing on you and through your life, there will be no evidence that the devil ever touched your life.
Conclusion: There is no power from hell that can stand against the wind of God: When the wind blows everything changes!
God is saying that many have been putting in all that they have. You feel like you are operating in poverty because you have not seen or experienced the tipping point.
“I [God] tell you that the sacrifices you have been making have accumulated on the scales. The scales are getting ready to tip.”
The other day I was sitting on the edge of the bed, and the container that we throw our loose change in caught my eye. It’s a tall glass container. God immediately brought me to the Scripture about the widow’s mite.
“Looking up, He saw the rich people putting their gifts into the treasury. And He saw a poor widow putting in two small copper coins. He said, ‘Truly I say to you, this poor widow has put in [proportionally] more than all of them; for they all put in gifts from their abundance; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on” (Luke 21:1-4, AMP).
Do not be discouraged.
Some have been struggling with heavy discouragement. The Father says, “Do not be discouraged, for discouragement serves to keep the scale from tipping and delays favor and blessing. It is time to repent from discouragement and adjust your focus. Remember, I am the God who redeems and restores, and I am faithful to keep my promises.”
Hebrews 11 reminds us of many who saw the fullness of the promises of God in earth and others who only saw them from afar: “And all of these, though they gained [divine] approval through their faith, did not receive [the fulfillment of] what was promised, because God had us in mind and had something better for us so that they [these men and women of authentic faith] would not be made perfect [that is, completed in Him] apart from us” (Heb. 11:29-40).
God says, “Too many have been looking with earthly perspective and understanding rather than My perspective and understanding.”
We are in a season where many things will not add up in the natural, but God is shifting seasons to make what He has deemed come to pass. Some will see this happen “now,” while others are to see the breakthrough from afar. “Take delight in both, for I will not delay says the Lord God of Heaven’s Army, but it will come to pass in my time.”
When the widow put those small “mites” into the offering, it looked like “too little” in the natural. The widow never knew the impact of that moment. God says, “Never underestimate the impact that the seemingly little contribution can have.”
How far is our understanding from that of God’s? Presently, there is an invitation to adjust our thinking to a heavenly perspective. The little contributions toward the kingdom of heaven are piling up on the scales, and a tipping point is about to be reached! Begin to thank Him now for the abundance that is breaking forth. Are you ready to make the necessary adjustments needed to tip the scale?
Accelerate the Tipping Point
Ask Holy Spirit to reveal any time you have been discouraged by the “little” and at which time you developed an attitude of poverty or lack. Intentionally shift your focus through praise and thanksgiving. Remember, we enter His courts with thanksgiving and His gates with praise (Ps. 100:4).
Also, remember that a seemingly insignificant act, when fueled by the power of heaven, carries the significant impact that can tip the scale in ways we can’t even imagine.
