Is Abortion Wrong

What the Bible says about abortion - Eternity News

Yes, abortion is wrong.

The courts have decided that abortion is legal. However, just because a thing is legal or customary does not mean that it is RIGHT. For instance, Ahaz and Manasseh, kings of Judah, made their children pass through the fire, which was the custom of the heathen in Canaan (2 Chr. 28:3; 2 Chr 33:6). While they determined that this was acceptable practice, in fact, what they did was wrong and evil. And God punished them for it.

Such is the case with abortion. It has become acceptable but it is wrong. We will examine some verses to show that the child in the womb is a person and that those who cause a woman’s child to depart from the womb (abort) should be punished by law, not protected by the courts.

In Genesis 25:22-24, Rebekah inquired of the Lord why “the children” struggled within her. The LORD said, “Two nations are in thy womb, and two manners of people shall be separated from thy bowels…” Notice, the struggling was not the struggling of fetuses, but rather the struggling of “children.” Furthermore, if she would have aborted, she would have not only killed the “children,” she would have destroyed “two nations” which came forth from the children: the Edomites and the Jews!!

To emphasize that the twins in her womb were living people, God recounts the struggle in Hosea 12:3. There he says, “He took his brother by the heel IN THE WOMB…” God clearly reveals that while “in the womb,” Jacob and Esau were “brothers” and that Jacob was able to take his brother by the heel. Those were people in there, not just tissue.

In Job 3:11-14 and Job 10:18-19, Job begged God that he could have been stillborn or could have died in birth. He wanted to “have been carried from the womb to the grave.” At the same time, he wanted to “have been at rest with kings and counselors of the earth.” Well, to be carried from the womb to the grave, he would have to have been born dead. And to be at rest with kings and counselors, he would have had to be alive as a living soul!! Thus, he would have been a living person in the womb who could “give up the ghost” when he “came out of the belly.”

In Luke 1:15, 41, and 44, we find that John the Baptist was a living person before his birth. For one thing, he was “filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.” Someone might argue that he could have been filled with the Spirit from the time that he departed “from” his mother’s womb. However, later we see that he leaped in Elisabeth’s womb when Mary came to see her. Elisabeth said, “…the babe leaped in my womb for joy.” It would have been impossible for him to experience joy if he were just fetal tissue.

There are those who argue that the fetus is not a living child until the “breath of life” enters its lungs at birth. They use verses like the following to substantiate their position: Genesis 2:7, 7:22; Ezekiel 37:1-10; Ps. 104:29. While they hold this position, they DO NOT condone abortion. They believe it is wrong. In fact, the Bible shows it is WRONG.

Exodus 21:22-25 deals with the legal matter of a premature birth resulting from harm to a woman. If a woman is hurt in a fight between two men and “her fruit depart from her,” the guilty party “shall be surely punished.” The Bible says that “…he shall pay as the judges determine.”

Then the law deals with the mischief that follows. But you can’t tell if the mischief is to the woman alone, the baby alone, or both. It appears that it may only deal with mischief to the woman. However, if it concerns mischief to the infant, as well, then the penalty goes all the way to “life for life.”

In other words, if we were to apply the judgment in Ex. 21 to the case of abortion, the judges would have to order the death penalty for the doctor if the verses deal with mischief to the child. Or else, the judges would have to surely punish the doctor and make him pay if the mischief only deals with consequences to the mother. In either case, the doctor would be  WRONG!!!

In the United States, the courts protect doctors and mothers who kill their babies. However, we only have to look as far as the second book of the Bible to see how God handles baby killers. Pharaoh commanded the Jewish midwives to perform partial-birth abortions in Ex. 1:16. The midwives refused to do it and “therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty,” (Ex. 1:20).

Since the baby boys were being born instead of killed as Pharaoh commanded, Pharaoh got mad and told his people to drown the male sons of the Jews in the river (Ex. 1:22). As a
result, God destroyed Egypt with plagues (Ex. 10:7) and drowned Pharaoh in the Red Sea (Ex. 14:27-28). You reap what you sow.

Conclusions: If you work in an abortion clinic, “Quit!” If you are thinking of having an abortion, “Don’t!” If you know someone who is thinking of having an abortion, tell them to “Stop!”

The COVID-19 – Election Fraud Connection

A lot of folks are letting themselves be spun into perpetual ineffectiveness against the coup by failing to recognize the “pandemic” as a contrivance in service to that crime against democracy.

SO, IT HAS RECENTLY BEEN REVEALED that the “kidnap plot” targeting Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, of which much was made last October smearing Donald Trump as the supposedly responsible party, was actually a false flag affair concocted by the FBI and clearly for the benefit of the Biden campaign. (See more about that in the ‘Other Voices’ feature of this newsletter.) As such, that Deep State pretense, and all the exploitation of the fiction by the MSM, amounts to a kind of election fraud.

Likewise, the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story by “big tech” prior to the election (and the cooperation of the MSM in that suppression) with false assertions that the story was “Russian disinformation”– after nearly a year of the FBI keeping the story under wraps before the New York Post got ahold of the information in October and attempted to get it out to what would clearly be a very interesting electorate (see the reporting here)– was a form of election fraud.

The intimidation of election certification officials with threats of violence, such as happened in Michigan (see here and here for some examples)– which were given menacing substance by the calculated refusal of city governments to enforce the law against violent Democrat-supporting rioters during the summer– was a form of election fraud.

In short, “election fraud” is not confined in its meaning to the falsifying of votes. In its broader sense, “election fraud” includes any deliberate interference with free, informed and independent decision-making by the electorate, such as through fraudulent ascription of responsibility for a domestic terrorist plot to one candidate, keeping real information that is likely to diminish support for another candidate hidden, and securing election certification through threats.

But these are not the only examples of this sort of election fraud in the 2020 vote.

The FBI Is Orchestrating Its Own Terrorism Plots

Questioning the FBI’s role in 1/6 was maligned by corporate media as deranged. But only ignorance about the FBI or a desire to deceive could produce such a reaction.

by Glenn Greenwald

The narrative that domestic anti-government extremism is the greatest threat to U.S. national security — the official position of the U.S. security state and the Biden administration — received its most potent boost in October 2020, less than one month before the 2020 presidential election. That was when the F.B.I. and Michigan state officials announced the arrest of thirteen people on terrorism, conspiracy and weapons charges, with six of them accused of participating in a plot to kidnap Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who had been a particular target of criticism from President Trump for her advocacy for harsh COVID lockdown measures.

The headlines that followed were dramatic and fear-inducing: “F.B.I. Says Michigan Anti-Government Group Plotted to Kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer,” announced The New York Times. That same night, ABC News began its broadcast this way: “Tonight, we take you into a hidden world, a place authorities say gave birth to a violent domestic terror plot in Michigan — foiled by the FBI.”

Democrats and liberal journalists instantly seized on this storyline to spin a pre-election theme that was as extreme as it was predictable. Gov. Whitmer herself blamed Trump, claiming that the plotters “heard the president’s words not as a rebuke but as a rallying cry — as a call to action.” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) claimed that “the president is a deranged lunatic and he’s inspired white supremacists to violence, the latest of which was a plot to kidnap Gov. Whitmer,” adding: “these groups have attempted to KILL many of us in recent years. They are following Trump’s lead.” Vox’s paid television-watcher and video-manipulator, Aaron Rupar, drew this inference: “Trump hasn’t commended the FBI for breaking up Whitmer kidnapping/murder plot because as always he doesn’t want to denounce his base.” Michael Moore called for Trump’s arrest for having incited the kidnapping plot against Gov. Whitmer. One viral tweet from a popular Democratic Party activist similarly declared: “Trump should be arrested for this plot to kidnap Governor Whitmer. There’s no doubt he inspired this terrorism.”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo instantly declared it to be a terrorist attack on America: “We must condemn and call out the cowardly plot against Governor Whitmer for what it is: Domestic terrorism.” MSNBC’s social media star Kyle Griffin cast it as a coup attempt: “The FBI thwarted what they described as a plot to violently overthrow the government and kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.” CNN’s Jim Sciutto pronounced it “deeply alarming.”

Illuminating Anniversaries For This Week!

“I confidently trust that the American people will prove themselves…too wise not to detect the false pride or the dangerous ambitions or the selfish schemes which so often hide themselves under that deceptive cry of mock patriotism: ‘Our country, right or wrong!’ They will not fail to recognize that our dignity, our free institutions and the peace and welfare of this and coming generations of Americans will be secure only as we cling to the watchword of true patriotism: ‘Our country–when right to be kept right; when wrong to be put right.'”
